Jeff Uglyshoes
Jeff ‘Uglyshoes’ was Born in Bristol in 1661. Apprenticed aboard a merchantman as a child. Twas soon discovered that he had a natural talent for music. Was made an apprentice seaman, where also entertained the crew. When his ship was taken, Jeffrey was taken hostage (musicians were in high demand) aboard a pirate ship. Since no ransom was paid, he spent his youth aboard the pirate ship, with brigands and rogues, where he learned many tales and songs. Reaching manhood, he claims to be an honest man and there’s no surviving witnesses to gainsay him. Often seen in the company of pirates, he still maintains his innocence.
