What A Pirate's Life Experience hopes to achieve is a link between the fantasy of yesteryear and today in a fun and approachable way. A Pirate's Life Experience is a learning experience covering the Golden Age of Piracy c. 1650 - c. 1730. Captain Dogfish Briggins brings piracy alive through his variety of wardrobes, effects, and macaws. The Captain has extensive wardrobes which highlight the fashions of the day. Effects include the Captain's private collection of some of the finest goods, products, textiles, and weapons. The macaws serve as a living example of the role they played in history. Experience for yourself the alure of these beautiful birds.

Educate Beyond the Classroom

A Pirate's Life Experience takes education outside of the classroom. It is a real world experience covering the Golden Age of Piracy c. 1650 - c. 1730. Captain Dogfish Briggins brings history to your event with authentic wardrobes, effects, and the macaws: Tova and Ronin!

Guaranteed to be an educational experience that is not soon forgotten. Captain Briggins combines years of experience and knowledge with an interactive opportunity with the macaws. Tova has become somewhat of a celebrity in the pirate community.

Whether it be the historical focus of the golden age of piracy, seeing historical props, or gaining a deep understanding of Macaws (their needs, care, handling them responsibly), it will be a fun learning experience for all.

By providing history in a fun and approachable way we hope that we encourage people to learn more about the past, and feed the spark of imagination and wonder that lies within us all. Along with the fun costumes this is also an opportunity for students of all ages to learn what it may have been like to be a pirate of yesteryear, if at least how the clothes may have felt. Given this unique learning opportunity, A Pirate's Life Experience is willing to come to you and your students of any age to help illuminate further the murkiness of the past.

Unique Photo Opportunities

A Pirate's Life Experience provides unique interactive photo opportunities with the Captain and his 3 highly trained and socialized parrots which can include member's of the crew where we raid festivals, faires, school programs, library events, birthday parties and private parties.

* In Addition to a raid for an extra service fee we can also provide

* A full 10' x 20' tropical photo backdrop booth that can enhance your event and can include dressing up in 18th century pirate clothing , cocked hats ,muskets and swords all while holding the parrots and standing with the entertainers.

* Photos are taken with your camera.
